What success looks like

Successful formation is increasing conformity to Christ, expressed in durable fruit.

Directionally consistent

Increasing love, patience, self-control, faithfulness, humility, service, truthfulness, courage, capacity for relationship, obedience.

Defective

Increasing self-importance, domination, secrecy, certainty without evidence, isolation, abstraction without service, fixation on power.

Christ is the center. Scripture governs the inquiry. Models are tools, not revelation. Speculation is labeled as speculation. No participant is required to accept the twelve-stage model or any metaphysical interpretation. We examine difficult questions about spiritual experience while taking biblical prohibitions concerning divination, sorcery, and spiritual manipulation seriously. The test of understanding is not access to hidden knowledge, but the fruit it produces.
